Trauma Sensitive Research

Our trauma-sensitive research services focus on ethical, context-aware ways of gathering insight so that participants feel safe, respected, and in control. In collaboration with the Patterns Institute , we draw on psychotherapy, intersectional thinking, and lived experience to design consent processes, recruitment, and methodologies that minimise retraumatisation and support deeper, more equitable understanding.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Our DEI services help organisations build cultures that are genuinely inclusive, accountable, and actively anti-discriminatory. We carry out DEI audits, develop strategic frameworks grounded in lived experience and intersectional analysis, and support the implementation and ongoing evaluation of inclusive initiatives. This work is designed to move organisations beyond performative gestures toward meaningful, systemic change.

AI Consultancy

We help organisations harness artificial intelligence to drive innovation, build ethical systems, and achieve their strategic goals. In partnership with Astronomical AI, we offer AI strategy consulting, model development, data analytics, and integration, all underpinned by strong ethics, governance, and a decolonial lens. By recognising how AI is shaped by social and historical contexts, we work to surface and address embedded bias so that AI solutions are not only effective but also just, inclusive, and responsive to the communities they affect.

Software Development

Our bespoke software development services create purposeful, ethical, human-centred digital solutions. We work with organisations to build tools and platforms that meet functional needs while reflecting values of justice, accessibility, and inclusivity. Grounded in trauma-sensitive design and a decolonial lens, our approach challenges structural bias, centres user dignity, and responds to the realities of diverse communities, delivering scalable, future-ready software.

Education & Training

Our education and training services are rooted in critical thinking, care, and the belief that learning should challenge dominant systems while offering practical tools for change. We partner with Patterns Institute to deliver trauma-sensitive research training, are developing a decolonial AI course that links technical understanding with governance practice, and have created a free-to-use GPT, Beyond the Colonial Mind, to support reflection and action around systemic injustice. We also offer AI seminars and webinars that demystify complex concepts, helping teams build more informed, accountable, and just ways of working.

Beyond the Colonial Mind GPT

Beyond the Colonial Mind is a free-to-use educational GPT we created to support self-guided learning around systemic injustice. It helps users unlearn colonial conditioning, understand systemic racism, and practise decolonial allyship without placing the burden on people of colour. The tool encourages critical reflection, historical awareness, and action rooted in anti-racism and collective liberation. Designed as an accessible resource for individuals and organisations alike, it offers a starting point for meaningful, accountable change.
